Assistant Director - Optimization and Business Intelligence

- Be attentive to employee concerns regarding processes and tools;
- Analyze processes and identify areas for improvement to boost efficiency;
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and participate in implementing improvements;
- Support the certification team with audits, reviews, and compilations;
- Optimize audit practices and act as a super user of IDEA;
- Train teams on IDEA and integrate it into internal methodologies;
- Review and optimize key financial processes, collect data, and synthesize findings;
- Assist in drafting service proposals, provide recommendations, and present reports to clients;
- Help clients implement improvements and manage engagements from proposal to delivery;
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration (specialization in accounting);
- CPA auditor designation;
- Over 4 years of experience in accounting (experience in a public accounting firm is an asset);
- Relevant experience in optimization and business intelligence;
- Training or certification in optimization is an asset (e.g., Lean Six Sigma);
- Knowledge of various financial and accounting systems is an asset;
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.);
- Skills in project management and change management;
- Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities;
- Ability to travel to client locations;
- Strong skills in supervision, organization, and time management.
