Tax Specialist

- Audit and manage the accounting operations necessary for sound file management (reconciliation, invoicing, taxes, instalments, etc.) ;
- Prepare tax returns and various forms required by government authorities (T3-T5, tax options, taxes, etc.) ;
- Ensure that production deadlines are met ;
- Make the payment of installments and tax balances on time ;
- Organize and contribute, as required, to the development of tax and financial planning with external and internal stakeholders ;
- Contribute to the preparation of the audit (tax provisions) and collaborate with external auditors ;
- Conduct tax research, draft tax memos and propose appropriate solutions ;
- Collaborate with the Accounting, Fiduciary, Administrative and Client Services team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance ;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position ;
- Master’s degree in tax (asset) ;
- CPA Title (asset) ;
- Experience in a practice ;
- English (asset) (some anglophone business relationships) ;
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite and Taxprep software ;
- Knowledge of the Acomba accounting software (asset).
