Our client, a Montreal-based accounting firm, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Support management and assist the accounting team in clerical tasks ;
  • Manage mail, mailings, and communications (physical and electronic) ;
  • Draft, format and transmit documents (Word, PowerPoint, PDF, Excel) to departments and other parties ;
  • Greet customers, manage conference room, low-volume phone calls and reservations ;
  • Coordinate signatures, make payments for customers and update various registers ;
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and physical office space.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience ;
  • Experience in an accounting firm or tax department (asset) ;
  • Proficiency in Office suite ;
  • Bilingualism in English and French required (English-speaking clientele) ;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills ;
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills ;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills ;
  • Team player with a positive attitude ;
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
