- Calculate and review building component measurements for detailed estimates ;
- Provide benchmarking data for construction costs ;
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to prepare proposals ;
- Ensure the quality of reports before they are issued to clients ;
- Supervise the distribution of inputs required for estimates ;
- Act as main point of contact for customer communications ;
- Develop new business and maintain relationships with existing customers ;
- Collaborate with team members for information exchange and cross-selling ;
- Coach the team, manage training and ensure compliance with company policies ;
- Manage invoicing processes and follow-up on customer payments.
Requirements
- DEC in civil engineering, architecture, building science, construction, construction economics or related fields ;
- Certified Construction Economist (CCE) or MRICS designation required ;
- LEED certification (asset) ;
- Minimum 7 years management experience in commercial real estate or related field, and real estate consulting expertise ;
- Thorough knowledge of the local construction and real estate industry, including laws, contracts and pricing practices ;
- Proficiency in Office Suite, CostX and Estate Master ;
- Bilingual French/English required (English-speaking clients/partners and suppliers) ;
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen and business development orientation.
