Project Manager / Estimator – Industrial Sector

- Evaluate plans, specifications and specifications;
- Plan detailed cost estimates and submissions;
- Conduct on-site surveys as required;
- Research and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers;
- Prepare, organize and supervise the execution of the work;
- Ensuring that deadlines and budgets are met;
- Managing relationships with customers, subcontractors and suppliers;
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements;
- To deal with unforeseen events and optimize the efficiency of construction sites.
Requirements
- CED or BAC in Civil Engineering, Construction Estimation or Management (or any other relevant training);
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position, ideally in the industrial sector;
- Experience in estimation in the construction sector;
- Good knowledge of industrial construction methods;
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g. Procore, Excel, specialized software);
- Strong communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
- Analytical and detailed;
- Excellent ability to read and interpret plans and technical specifications;
- Proficiency in estimation software such as General Estimator, E-Plan, or other similar tools;
- Timeliness and positive attitude;
- Fluent communication in French, both orally and in writing;
- English (asset) (20% of communication in English with English-speaking customers and suppliers);
- Analytical mind;
- Orientation towards problem solving.
