We are looking for an experienced mechanicalor electro-mechanical engineer to join a manufacturing company as a team leader! The candidate will be responsible for a small team of passionate professionals and will coordinate the various projects assigned to them.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the assignments of team members for the various projects and ensure control of the workloads;
  • Participate in the recruitment of team members;
  • Carry out the annual evaluation of the team;
  • Coordinate process improvement and team training activities;
  • Design mechanical and electromechanical products;
  • Perform finite element studies;
  • Stay up to date on new technologies and new products;
  • Test prototypes and series leads ;
  • Participate in the implementation of parts lists for products and by-products;
  • Carry out failure analyses;
  • Participate in the drafting of equipment qualification procedures;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering or mechanics;
  • Experience in a team management or supervisory role;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience;
  • Good knowledge of mechanics in general, mechanical concepts and theory;
  • Resourcefulness, inventive spirit and ability to find solutions;
  • French and English bilingualism;
  • Leadership and team spirit;
  • Knowledge of 3D software such as SolidEdge or PTC Creo is an asset.
