We are looking for a mechanical engineer for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D drawings for various projects ;
  • Update current drawings ;
  • Participate in technical reviews and design concepts ;
  • Contribute to technical analyses ;
  • Technically approve the received parts ;
  • Support the production department ;
  • Assist departments with quality control ;
  • Provide support and supervision to the weekend team when required ;
  • Support at the ERP system level ;
  • Provide support in tracking and maintaining existing processes and procedures (ISO, policies, etc.) ;
  • Assist with parts search and inventory maintenance.

Requirements

  • DEC in mechanical engineering or Bac in mechanical or industrial engineering ;
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position ;
  • Proficiency in a 3D CAD program (SolidWorks, asset) ;
  • Knowledge of welding (asset) ;
  • Knowledge of ERP system ;
  • Good communication ;
  • High analytical capacity ;
  • Teamwork ;
  • Ability to solve problems analytically ;
  • Thorough and proactive ;
  • Sense of organization ;
  • Autonomy and rigour.
