- Plan, execute and supervise environmental site assessments (phases I to III) ;
- Investigate and advise on the presence and management of hazardous materials (asbestos, mold, lead, etc.) in buildings ;
- Ensure administrative and financial follow-up of projects ;
- Go out into the field, coordinate interventions on customer sites and take part in project meetings ;
- Describe and take environmental samples of soil, water, rock and air in accordance with current procedures and standards ;
- Carry out various tests and measurements on site, and install different types of wells and piezometers ;
- Write technical reports for drilling, monitoring, management and daily reports ;
- Prepare technical reports in compliance with current standards and legislation ;
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- College/university degree in environment or similar field ;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental assessment (phases I to III) and rehabilitation ;
- Member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ) or des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) ;
- AQVE certification (asset) ;
- Excellent knowledge of provincial environmental regulations ;
- Bilingual French/English required (English-speaking suppliers) ;
- ASP Construction certification ;
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle ;
- Responsible, autonomous, good judgment.
