PLC Programmer

- Monitor automation execution and maintain RPA;
- Develop and configure efficient, well-structured, easy to maintain and understand programs, scripts and objects;
- Collaborate with internal teams to complete projects;
- Participate in certain projects with Ontario teams;
- Integrate and deploy PLC projects;
- Supervise the installation of PLC programs;
- Configure new RPA processes and objects;
- Draw electrical or mechanical diagrams to demonstrate process operation;
- Develop and install machine programs using automation software;
- Troubleshoot system errors;
- Document development processes;
- Provide technical assistance;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
- College or university degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field;
- Allen Bradley PLC certification;
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role;
- Bilingualism in French and English (to assist teams in both Quebec and Ontario);
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing processes.
