- Handle phone calls for business insurance ;
- Make phone calls to solicit leads from work plans or external lists to obtain due dates and make submissions ;
- Inform clients and affiliated agents of the choice of the necessary guarantees and coverages and advise them on the limitations contained in the contracts ;
- Provide affiliated agents with the reasons for accepting or refusing certain requests so that they can adequately respond and provide accurate information to clients ;
- Collaborate with affiliated agents, negotiate with them and participate in certain activities with them ;
- Evaluate proposals, conduct external inquiries and perform computer entry of insurance transactions ;
- Organize appropriate inspections according to risk types and administrative guidelines ;
- Evaluate inspection reports, assess risks and complete underwriting files to bring them in line with our standards, according to their level of authority ;
- Select and issue required correspondence using letter processing when available ;
- Write personalized letters for situations requiring special treatment ;
- Makes decisions autonomously within their custom authority limit.
Requirements
- CED in insurance and financial services or equivalent ;
- Valid business insurance agent certificate issued by the AMF ;
- Minimum 5 years of business insurance experience ;
- Minimum of 6 AAP or FPAA courses from the Damage Insurance Institute of Canada completed ;
- Oral and written bilingualism ;
- Mastery of the MS Office Suite ;
- Mastery of the art of advanced corporate insurance underwriting;
- Autonomy ;
- Analytical mind.
