- Oversee the management of essential legal services;
- Submit annual filings to the REQ (Quebec Enterprise Register) and Corporation Canada;
- Handle both provincial and federal incorporations;
- Prepare CDC resolutions as required;
- Maintain and update minute books for corporations and trusts;
- Collect necessary information to finalize files;
- Draft initial versions of contracts, resolutions, and other legal corporate documents for various mandates;
- Organize the different phases of a file (deadlines, post-closing, reminders, etc.), ensure communication with relevant parties, and follow up as needed;
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to keep track of file progress and departmental updates;
- Perform other related tasks, including writing and sending emails and letters, scanning documents, assisting with billing, filing, and additional administrative duties.
Requirements
- DEC in Legal Techniques or relevant training related to the position;
- 4 to 8 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience in a professional services environment (an asset);
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Edilex software.
