- Execute assigned projects efficiently and professionally ;
- Collaborate with Project Manager-Development to review project scope for standardized construction ;
- Evaluate and challenge budget submissions from General Contractors ;
- Ensure adherence to budget and schedule ;
- Oversee construction professionals to ensure timely and cost-effective directives ;
- Supervise on-site activities and problem-solving with contractors ;
- Represent company at project site meetings and provide updates to Construction Director ;
- Manage contracts and validate Scope of Work prepared by GC ;
- Ensure readiness for unit delivery and oversee inspections ;
- Supervise Associate Project Manager and Site Coordinator ;
- Coach and support team members in personal and project tasks ;
- Evaluate direct reports' performance and recommend actions as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Minimum 5 years construction site management experience ;
- Strong understanding of construction processes ;
- People management experience ;
- Excellent negotiation skills ;
- Ability to influence decisions and lead effectively ;
- Strong organizational skills and judgment ;
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities ;
- Proficient in Procore or equivalent software ;
- Comfortable liaising with various stakeholders ;
- Flexible to work weekends or nights as needed ;
- Willingness to travel between sites, with valid driver's license.
