Project Coordinator

- Monitor and control construction budgets ;
- Prepare, monitor and control schedules ;
- Prepare quantity surveys and purchase orders ;
- Participate in coordination meetings with subcontractors ;
- Provide information required to obtain permits ;
- Work with consultants to resolve construction issues ;
- Hold meetings and minutes ;
- Review, comment and approve shop drawings ;
- Provide site support for subcontractor coordination and planning ;
- Transfer information to site for proper coordination and understanding of design ;
- Track changes with site and subcontractors ;
- Complete monthly reports ;
- Perform other related project management tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture or other relevant training ;
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience ;
- Experience in the construction of medium to large-scale concrete residential or hotel complexes ;
- Strong negotiation skills ;
- Knowledge of the Quebec Construction Code ;
- Proficiency in Office suite ;
- Knowledge of Project, Autocad and Procore (an asset) ;
- Bilingualism French/English required (many English-speaking subcontractors) ;
- Understanding of various technical drawings: structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, sprinkler, etc.
