- Develop and implement a stock management strategy in line with the company’s objectives;
- Work with management to define the service’s objectives and target targets;
- Prioritizing projects;
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation measures to meet deadlines and targets;
- Support processes to ensure optimal quality in the required time;
- Ensure the overall management of inventories with other departments, from receipt to distribution, ensuring the effectiveness of the processes implemented;
- Lead and coach a team of stock management professionals, promoting their development and team cohesion;
- Monitor the key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory and provide detailed reports to management;
- Identify strict internal controls to ensure the compliance of inventory management practices, including regular audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory data;
- Evaluate inventory gaps, identify the causes and propose actions to optimize performance;
- Effectively bring together diverse stakeholders around common goals through excellent collaboration;
- Lead, with his team, the annual and cyclical counts of inventories as well as the coordination with external auditors during audits;
- Recommend continuous improvements to inventory management processes, in collaboration with the logistics, purchasing and sales teams;
- Turning challenges into concrete solutions;
- Ensure the development and compliance with internal controls within the organization;
- Support partnerships with solution providers, negotiating the best possible conditions for the company;
- Overseeing the annual inventory department budget with the management team;
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of inventory management systems to increase efficiency and accuracy of operations;
- Take initiatives to solve challenges and constantly optimize processes to achieve and exceed business objectives.

Requirements
- College or university degree in a relevant field;
- Between seven and ten years of experience in a similar leadership position;
- Retail experience (asset);
- Oral and written bilingualism required (70% of the time to communicate with external suppliers and with operating partners across Canada and the US);
- Excellent command of Excel ;
- Enthusiasm and positivity;
