Responsibilities

  • Prepare the bids ;
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor them and settle disputes ;
  • Monthly sales forecasts ;
  • Evaluate market activities ;
  • Ensure communication link with allocation, production, quality, billing and credit ;
  • Visit clients and their sites and seek to expand the client base in its territory ;
  • Ensure and communicate an image of excellence for the company;
  • Develop opportunities for developing new clienteles ;
  • Make health and safety a daily priority ;
  • Perform all health and safety related tasks contained in his or her workplace ;
  • Consider the environmental variables applicable to the sector’s activities ;
  • Develop behaviour that respects quality concepts and comply with the procedures, laws and regulations governing proper operation ;
  • Participate in the various programs implemented and comply with applicable procedures, laws and regulations where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, marketing, civil engineering, mining or equivalent (asset) ;
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction sector ;
  • Experience with concrete and/or in construction sites ;
  • Experience working in management in a unionized environment ;
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanics ;
  • ASP Construction card ;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office software ;
  • Valid class 5 driver’s licence ;
  • Knowledge of SAP (asset) ;
  • Knowledge of SalesForce.com (asset) ;
  • Excellent command of common software (Word, Excel) ;
  • Bilingualism (asset) (English clients) ;
  • Customer service and results orientation ;
  • Resourcefulness ;
  • Analytical and organizational skills ;
  • Ability to work under pressure ;
  • Autonomy and rigour ;
  • Planning and discipline ;
  • Analytical and good judgment ;
