Payroll Specialist

- Analyze and performs data entry for payroll;
- Responsible for bi-weekly payroll for approximately 900+ employees across Canada;
- Update payroll data such as new hires, terminations, salary or other condition changes;
- Administer CNESST files: calculates and makes payments for associates on leave and follows up on reimbursements;
- Coordinate benefits follow-up during periods of absence: long-term disability, preventive withdrawal and maternity leave;
- Act as resource person for group insurance (enrolment management, changes during employment, termination and costs of various Modules)
- Produce various reports for payroll, accounting and human resources departments;
- Prepare salary change & bonus program files following annual appraisals;
- Respond to various requests from employees, managers and directors;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Requirements
- Diploma in accounting, administration or payroll;
- Canadian Payroll Association certificate is an asset;
- Minimum 5 years experience in payroll management;
- Experience with payroll for all Canadian provinces;
- Bilingualism in French and English.
