- Establish project execution priorities according to contribution to corporate strategy;
- Manage the planning, risk assessment, execution and completion of continuous improvement projects;
- Prepare capital projects for new equipment and processes;
- Monitor project budget and delivery;
- Facilitate workshops to motivate and engage employees;
- Develop and implement corrective actions to improve the safety of operating processes;
- Provide support to Manufacturing Engineering team members in setting up methods, work instructions and tooling requirements;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering;
- Member of the OIQ;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management in the manufacturing field;
- Bilingualism required (French - English) as customers and suppliers are English-speaking and located in unilingual English geographical areas;
- Knowledge of Lean tools, Black Belt certification an asset;
- Mastery of MS Office suite, Autocad and SAP;
- Knowledge of machine safety, an asset;
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
