- Manage internal and external client service requests ;
- Develop and maintain a service request tracking system ;
- Remotely support representatives, lifting teams and external customers to find innovative solutions to complex situations ;
- Create and calculate new lifting accessories or mechanical equipment by applying good engineering practices and current international standards ;
- Create accessory design and manufacturing drawings ;
- Define and prepare the list of lifting equipment and accessories ;
- Ensure application of general principles of material strength ;
- Assist and coach technical service technicians in the development of drawings and lifting plans with mobile cranes ;
- Calculate the loads and ground pressures released by our equipment during lifting ;
- Identify and manage technical needs during emergencies outside normal business hours ;
- Contribute to the analysis and design of new projects and ensure their implementation.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering ;
- Knowledge of welding ;
- 3 to 4 years of mechanical design experience ;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Suite Office, Adobe Acrobate and Inventor ;
- Good command of French, both oral and written ;
- Good oral and written proficiency in English (asset) - (English-speaking customers and suppliers) ;
- Class 5 driver’s licence ;
- Autonomy and efficiency ;
- Communication skills ;
- Versatility and teamwork.
