We are seeking a Fit Technician - Ladies division Knit, Woven (Tops & Bottom) join a leading wholesaler based in Montreal!

Responsibilities

  • Draft garment specification sheets in harmony with sketches or samples, adhering to our fit criteria and designer's vision;
  • Oversee garment production from initial specifications to final production, occasionally verifying TOP samples;
  • Conduct fittings on live models alongside the designer;
  • Furnish suppliers with comprehensive reports detailing necessary modifications (measurements, correction explanations, images, and DXF patterns as backup) within specified timelines;
  • Review and rectify patterns as needed;
  • Proficient in grading techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a fit technician;
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making skill as an asset;
  • Ability to effectively communicate design intent and fit corrections to factories by interpreting words into sketches;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel & outlook. Proficiency in illustrator and/ or photoshop as asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communications skills;
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
  • Have a positive, proactive, and productive approach.
